Two weeks worth of puppy pictures...

Hi Everyone!  I know I haven't uploaded any photos of the puppies for a while, but now that they are really active, it's hard to get good pictures.  So I'll show you some of the ones I've taken but haven't shared yet.
The puppies at 7 weeks old.

The pink color collared girl went to her forever home on Sunday the 15th.  She went home with a very nice guy named Kolton.  I hope they will be happy together for years to come!

The puppies at 8 weeks old.
Bo and two of the boys playing in the yard.
Bo is very good with the pups.  He lets them climb all over him.  I've nicknamed him the babysitter, because he helps me keep them away from the road.  I always put him out in the yard first, then open the door to the puppy nursery and let them out.  They go running for the door where he is waiting and they all have to stop and jump up on him to say hello before they head out to the yard to do their business.
It's really quite the sight to see them run out and then all over the yard, staying together most of the time.  I have an outside kennel that I use for the big dogs, but have been putting the pups in to safely enjoy the outside.  I also put them in it so I can clean the nursery.
It has really been fun having them.  I'm still trying to find homes for them all.  I've had lots of calls but the timing just hasn't been right.  My hunting friends think I've priced them too low.  They have seen them in action and have been impressed by them.  So we'll see what happens this week.  Well, thanks for stopping by.

Six weeks old...

Hi Everyone!  I meant to post this yesterday, but ran out of time.  The puppies are six weeks old now.  On Monday they are going to the vet for their first set of shots.  These pictures are from Wednesday night when I moved them out of their normal area into this make shift play pen area so that I could clean their area.  This first picture is of Bo (Sire) watching them.  He's fascinated by them.

The puppies are eating dog food.  For the most part it still has to be wet or watered down dry food, but they are starting to go for the all dry stuff too.  It just depends on the time of day.  They have been separated from mom for over a week now.  But if they see her and think they can get to her, they run after her and she just runs the other way.  Her milk is just now starting to dry up.

I've been taking them outside every night after work and a couple of times a day on the weekends.  They love it!  It's fun to watch them chase each other and roll around.  This weekend several people are stopping by to take a look at them.  So hopefully they'll be finding their forever homes.  Less than two weeks before they can go home.  I'll be sad, but I've loved the experience.  Thanks for stopping by.
